Yeah, I'd have him.... The amount of rotation and subs we use in attacking positions, a player like Cellina would be useful.... Lets face it, Broadhead wont go a full season, play every game. Without getting injured. We had to manage his fitness, somewhat, when he arrived. And I'm guessing, had we not had so many "must win" games, we would probably have given Broadhead a lighter work load ..
I'm not saying, lets chase Cellina and have another drawn out saga on whether or not he comes hear. But I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if he showed up. But I wouldn't cry if he didn't, either. |  | | |

This season we do need additional quality across the AMdf/10s, probably more pace and depends if KMcK sees a wider player as a more important player compared with what BC brings.
It’s down to KMcK and recruiting team, they know what and who will improve us.

I've been dead against Celina coming back for over a year, but yeah I do see him fitting in to a rotation of 10s now we're back in the Championship. He's better than Harness and I was surprised he's still only 26. But, I trust the process and I'm looking forward to the club starting to make announcements, particularly with Aluko, Luongo and Hirst. |  |

We'll be bringing in at least five new players, so someone who knows (loves) the club and can hit the ground running would be a big benefit to us. I can see it happening. |  |

The stats don't really back up that he's inconsistent though, I believe Joe previously posted something from last season that he was right up there with chances created.
He also won't be there to start ahead of Broadhead but as an option off the bench. A free option off the bench who is clearly better than the current options off the bench and would allow funds for other things.
Not saying we should sign him but I would think there may be some consideration given the context in which he would be used.
I read somewhere that the Broadhead fee could rise to 4m with a PL promotion so doubt we are going to be spending that on backup.

Think you'd see a much better Cellina with players like Davis, Luongo, and a decent striker around him.Not to mention the KM influence...Chaplin is a great example of a player that's benefited and improved this season, just from being in an all round, better quality team.
Cellinas team mates last season, included, Penney, Kenlock, Carol, Fraser, Piggot, Bonne.... I'm not saying rush out and chase Cellina. But it's chalk and cheese the quality of our squad from 2 summers ago when he came here on loan, to what it is now.. | | | |
