Saw a guy out jogging whilst I was driving home through Kesgrave and thought he had an impressive amount of professional looking gear, including the vest you see the pro players wear to monitor everything.
As I got level, I'd be 80% certain it was Bart. Had to see for sure, but given the gear, the resemblance in stature, facial appearance etc, I assume it was him.
From what I recall he loved it here and wanted to live here beyond his career, so assume he's commuting to Millwall and it was him. |  | | |  |

By the way this thread has gone he may just have been following a long ball forward by Cheltenham and still trying to claim it all the way to my house.
Still it goes to show keepers are having to do their bit as well to stay in shape. Can't imagine seeing Neville Southall out jogging in June back in the mid 80's. | | | |

Walton's time is limited? Boy, that's a hot take I wasn't expecting.
I remember the goal at Cheltenham but also thought it was a reflection on the confidence of the team that we had a keeper who was even thinking of dealing with it in the way he tried.
He'll be here for some time to come - he was instrumental in not only keeping us in games but also starting moves which led to some of our most crucial goals. |

I was at Cheltenham too, in the side stand. His action on long high crosses needs to be more decisive. He is generally good at corners, but he doesn't own the space enough for me. Despite his height he makes me nervous.
His kicking has been put on the back burner lately as our passing out from the back has taken over, but even with the ball at his feet he also makes me nervous.
His shot stopping has been excellent, but he needs to keep working on those other aspects

It sounds as though the issue is more your nerves than Walton's ability TBH.
We haven't conceded a goal from passing it out from the back so what's making you nervous? Did you see him with the ball at his feet at Barnsley? Waiting, daring, enticing the forwards to press so we could break it, create the space and attack? He's no Ederson (who could probably play outfield for many clubs in the 72) but he's not at risk of replacement for me. |  |
