I think it's down to the petrol and diesel monopoly and rampant/uncontrolled profiteering last year.
Inflation started when they hiked the prices and everyone started the cycle of putting prices up. Now it's cooling because fuel is affordable again.
Putting up base when 60% are on fixes is an archaic and crude lever to try to control the whole economy. |  |
