That's by no means universal; at least two meteorological sites have it as only intermittent showers between 11am-5pm tomorrow & a very decent chance of at least 3 hours play (depending at least partly on how quickly they can get the covers off + the amount of mopping up required I guess). |  |

Everyone knew it was coming, including the Aussies which is why they were trying to slow the game down (as much as they could given England’s onslaught)… they’ve been playing for a draw in this one since the first ball, as they’ve known there was some weather due for days 4 and 5.
If, as looks likely, England have themselves to blame for those moments of madness in the first two tests. |  |
