*When he was a YTS farrier he got kicked in the nuts from a Suffolk Punch....he has wanted to see the breed extinct ever since. *This is pure speculation, but is highly probably a fact.

Possibly because the Suffolk Punch is the equivalent of an agricultural dinosaur from Suffolk whilst Ipswich Town is a US franchise based somewhere between sun-cooked Arizona and Ohio? As the craving for signings and yet more signings show, franchise followers nowadays are not remotely interested in Suffolk. Most rare breeds survive because it’s become rather trendy to eat them - though that is probably not an option for the Suffolk Punch. I’ve just sponsored Aspel

Pint for the Punch Campaign on 21:25 - Sep 1 with 3393 views | Edmundo | Went there yesterday with the family. A wonderful place to visit, proper history lesson in the museum, top English breakfast in the café and walks (dogs allowed) to burn off the calories.
