I was chatting with the club secretary at Exeter city yesterday and he said that refs have been instructed to tighten up massively on time wasting, fouls to break up play and dissent this season. Will be interesting to see how they interpret it but sounds like a positive move. | | | |

Hopefully the ball will be in play for much closer to 90 minutes than it is at the moment.

Excuse being sceptical but I will believe when I see it still happening in Oct/Nov/Dec. It’s all in the application, whenever these things are introduced they start with a bang then by Sept folks are cussing every ref then by Oct the relax begins.
It is an area that needed rectifying, I’m pleased it’s been recognised but let’s wait to see how it’s applied consistently over a number of games. | |

I thought they were doing that last season? Many games were seeing 9 minutes added, it's only 30 seconds for a sub? |  | | |
