It seems to me that the really unforgivable crime here is that hospital managers took a considered decision designed to protect their own and their hospitals reputation and in so doing enabled the deaths of more babies.
Lucy Letby’s actions were of course awful in the extreme but can only be viewed as the actions of someone not in their right mind and clearly suffering a mental illness. A civilised society should not wish her to “rot in hell”. [Post edited 19 Aug 2023 9:09]

There is no reason why a person like this should not face the death sentence. |
The death sentence isnt the answer. However, given the fact she has previously had suicidal thoughts combined with the inevitable whole life sentence which is the only sentence someone this barbaric could get, i wouldnt be surprised if she commits suicide | | | |
