Each to their own but I've always found it quite vulgar and unnecessary to 'represent' your football loyalties alongside the poppy. It's a symbol of remembrance and peace, and of something far greater than football. I've never understood why it need sit alongside your club crest.

Same, not something I would wear and I completely agree but if people want to donate more to have their club's badge beside it then I guess that's a good thing. Brings in more money but still feels a bit uncomfortable I must admit.

Truly impaired.

Poppymas starts earlier every year, it seems.

The adding of a year to these pins just goes to illustrate what a shameless cash-grab most of the tat turned out by the RBL actually is.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

It's hardly a 'shameless cash-grab' by putting a date on the pin. If they didn't do so then quite a few people would wear the same pin every year and the charity would lose fortunes.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

I wear the same pin every year. I still donate. I don't want them creating a new one every year which I buy and then what? Throw away?

Truly impaired.

They call it a "pin" too.

That's enough for me to say no.
