I've just finished watching The Americans on Channel 4. It's a long old job, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Partly the affection for all the 1980s 'scenery' but mostly because it was a really good, multi-dimensional, well acted and relatively realistically paced set of plots.
Thoroughly recommend it if you're into not too heavy, but not too silly spy stories woven around a brilliant family under stress theme. So many good acting performances and not just from the main characters, although the main two were superb. [Post edited 25 Sep 2023 16:00]

It's one I recommend to a lot of people, one of favourite box sets of watched in recent years - brings itself to a brilliant climax as well - obviously some bits are a bit far fetched but thought the series was just superb |  |
