You might also care to join the very Town focussed ITFC South West group, very good at organising meet-ups, talks by former Town players and all kinds of magical things.... although the group sometimes descends into a riot about the old scone based cream first/jam first debate which can be kinda tedious.

I usually mix the jam and cream together first and spread like a gloopy milkshake. It turns the scone argument into something more sinister.

Its good stuff. My local shop stocked it for a bit but it never sold. But after a month or so it flew off the shelves.

When I went down to St Just for my holidays as a teenager, we used to get the most fantastic fish straight from the boats in Newlyn Harbour. Lemon sole so big you’d have to cut the heads off to get them under the grill. Served up with a jug of local cider. TWTD.

I’ve just looked that up and it looks rather nice. We’ll definitely be back sooner rather than later. It’s a gorgeous part of the world (out of season lol)

TBF they are easily spotted. They are the ones who park under the lampposts and then moan about seagulls while trying to clean a digested pasty and chips off their Merc with a baby wipe.
