Antisemitism yesterday 13:10 - Oct 29 with 8476 views | Zx1988 | Chap in my vicinity decided to direct some antisemitic invective towards the referee during the first half yesterday, at the point when he was endearing himself to precisely none of the home crowd. Reported it to the text number, as requested, and was wholly disappointed with the response. Having to explain precisely why "you're f**king ___ing us, ref" was offensive, was a particular low-light of the exchange which resulted in precisely no action being taken. Is this level of inaction par for the course from the text number? I assume it's a central league-run line rather than being club-run?

Antisemitism yesterday on 20:31 - Oct 29 by Swansea_Blue | That’s some accusation. I don’t believe for a minute that Phil’s hosting a site harbouring antisemites. If you think he is, I suggest you report the relevant posts to admin. |
There’s been a number of nudge, wink comments referencing money or influence. Whilst difficult to prove as racist (though widely known tropes) it’s fairly telling that when questioned, not a single one brought forward any evidence. Or any reply at all for that matter…I wonder why.

Tell me why a post about a serious incident at the football, one we should take seriously and without prejudice, has turned into a bloodying poo flinging contest. Time to take a look at ourselves and realise that the OP's incident is way more important than getting one over on someone else in our community. There are a lot of shameful things going on in the world at the moment, we should be better than them. Edit: I didn't mean to target your reply specifically, it was a general observation [Post edited 30 Oct 2023 9:53]

It is really frustrating when threads descend down that path.

The tricky thing is that the world really is run by people with money and influence - but obviously those people span all races and religions. So when people talk about the first part of that without explicitly stating the second part, I understand it can sound like (and sometimes actually is) an anti-semitic dog whistle.

Might be wrong, but I think VWH was referring to old fights between some posters here on Corbyn and Labour Party antisemitism?
