Current run rate is: Leicester - 111 points Us - 109 points Leeds - 92 points Southampton - 90 points Leeds an Southampton obviously had a slightly slower start and are picking up points at a greater rate recently, but I'm certain that they (and us and Leicester) will all have our wobbles over the remaining games, so 90 points probably isn't a million miles out.

Half way there on 13:39 - Dec 3 with 916 views | King_of_Portman_Rd | A quick Look back through league tables, the highest ever tally for a 3rd place finish was 89 points in 2015/16, where Brighton missed out on GD. That season appears to be a bit of an outlier as the average for a 3rd place finish is around 83 points The average for a 2nd place finish is 88 points and as OP has highlighted, no one (thus far) has got 90 points and not got promoted so does act as a pretty accurate indicator as to what is required. *numbers are from 2007 - 2023 seasons
