Delia front page of BBC News on 13:25 - Dec 19 by Bobbychase | When in fact it shows us in a very good light I think if you look at the amount of ITFC fans who were in the vicinity. With other clubs it would have been far worse. |
I disagree. I always think about how I’d like to be treated, and I wouldn’t enjoy being targeted like that. I don’t think anyone would. Just because she’s ‘on the other side’ doesn’t make it right. In my opinion of course. It seems I’m in the minority though.

She put herself there. Why didn't she instruct her driver to hold back, or just stop & wait for the crowd to clear if indeed he'd taken a wrong turn or made a bad decision to follow the Town bus? I'm only a handful of years younger than her & wouldn't have allowed myself to be put in that position. If there'd been nothing I could have done at the time to avert the situation, I'd have put out a statement afterwards clarifying the situation & apologising (including for her driver's behaviour), & in the interests of fairness & justice pointing out that only one Town fan threw one item which couldn't have injured anyone. She could easily have done that afterwards & we'd have had more respect for her. But obviously she didn't. Says it all.

But you know how as you age it gets more difficult to pull things out of your memory, maybe she had only got up to 1978 when she told her driver which coach to follow and all she could remember was being decked out in blue and white at the Cup Final...

Delia front page of BBC News on 11:53 - Dec 20 with 401 views | lizzibee | Its because they don't know the facts - the sun had them following the scum coach. really not news - the more news is their driver heading towards our fans, aggressively with the horn blasting. They shouldn't have been following the coach. One can - not news. I was more concerned someone had the audacity to drink out of a green can on derby day

Do you honestly think if the chairman of another club like West Ham, Arsenal, Man Utd etc drove through thousands of rival fans on derby day they would get off unscathed? By all accounts, her driver was acting like a pr**k as well, inviting trouble. Norwich and their client media trying to portray this as some sort of awful incident. It was incredibly benign given the circumstances.

EXACTLY. Look at the drone shots of the coach welcome that ITFC put out on Monday. Only the brain dead would have told her driver to head down that road at that exact time. This smacks of a stunt or just stupidity. If, as TWTD reported, her driver was offered the chance to follow the NCFC coach in under police escort, then the blame lies with them.

It just demonstrates all things ncfc live in a their own little bubble, devoid of any reality regarding their insignificance in the world of football. As a club and fan base they really go suffer from delusions of grandeur, and always have five. God help us if they actually achieved anything in the game.
