We had an off day, against a team that had very much an on day, have a multi-millions-more-than-us squad, and were in the Prem last year. Get a grip of yourselves.

Some of you need to remember we've had a record breaking start to the season on 09:41 - Dec 24 by FrimleyBlue | That's what I mean. Even I've been quite mellow with this one. In game stuff is pure passion. Anger. Frustration all into one. We were 3 0 down. Ripped a new one. Think even gav said it was crp. But generally. I can't see anything major on here that falls under the actual category of OTT |
That's because you're king of the OTT. If you don't think saying we need to buy a new keeper, after the season Hladky's had, is OTT then there's no hope for you.

I don't agree with it. But it's not OTT no. He has strengths and weaknesses. No different to other players and until this season he was no.2.

Again. Well done on proving that poster right. You do have an agenda. You've proved it. You don't share your thoughts on this forum. So you don't really have any right telling others what you think of theirs. We don't see yours as you're to scared to share them. For all we know. You go OTT more than even me.. But no. You just sit there and post calling out posts. Odd

He's arguably in the top 2 goalkeepers in the Champ. What he did prior to this season is irrelevant. To say he should be dropped and a new keeper bought, on the basis of one game (where he wasn't particularly at fault for the scoreline anyway) is obviously OTT.

Ahahahaha. I've been sharing my football thoughts on here at least a decade before you even arrived. I bet some on here are spitting out their coffee this morning at the very idea that "Dollers doesn't share his thoughts on this forum." How is it possible to get so much wrong like you do? Some of you need to remember we've had a record breaking start to the season on 09:06 - Dec 24 by franz_tyson | Not disagreeing with any of that in terms of what we've achieved. We all know we've achieved far more than expected. Its a good summary of where we are. However, I do feel there's a type (maybe the OP) who are just waiting for us to under-achiveve or under-perform and then lie in wait for the subsequent pissed off posters... and then go over the top on them all. Seems a bit pre-meditated. Putting themselves on a pedestal so they can slag off anyone who's genuinely annoyed/disapointed/deflated, etc .If your first reaction after a performance like that is to start giving dad advice to some instead of giving your human reaction to the football, then maybe they have other agendas. Agree that there are some who go completely over the top after a bad performance/result or just even after one player error - but many are just showing emotions just after a game. |
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being disappointed, that’s natural and I’m sure it’s true of everyone. I certainly was, I am whenever we don’t win football matches, whoever it’s agaibst. We’ve become accustomed to winning many more than we don’t, so naturally we’ve probably all become a little expectant. The reality is losing away at Leeds isn’t underachieving, as frustrating as it is. There’s generally a very clear correlation between £ and league finishes, with an outlier or 2, and we’re the outlier at the moment. That’s not to say we can’t dissect the performance and be frustrated with elements of it, but I do think it’s hard to be too critical when you consider what we’re up against. I’m sure Exeter fans weren’t best pleased with a 6-0 thumping against us in April but there are levels, we were a cut or 2 above them and Leeds are of us now. That’s not to say they will win every week or sides won’t go there and get a result, as we didn’t last season, but objectively they’re just on a slightly different level to us and over the course of a season that tends to show. If we finish above them this season it would be an unbelievable achievement. Yesterday needn’t define our season though, we need to remain ruthless against the clubs without that level of quality and resource which we have done so far this season. I think it’s quite telling that the 3 games we’ve been outplayed this season were against Leeds and away to West Brom. It wouldn’t surprise me if it happens again on Boxing Day either tbh. KM is squeezing absolutely everything he can from our squad, but there’s some fecking good sides at this level and stronger squads than ours.

Some of you need to remember we've had a record breaking start to the season on 12:17 - Dec 24 with 441 views | jayessess | I do find the tendency to diagnose systemic flaws in the team off the back of three defeats all season a bit wearing. Sure, bad result, tell us where you think it went wrong, who you think played badly etc. etc. But there's a lot of "X player simply isn't good enough/the way we set up is naïve/we've been found out/this is why Y player needs to go/we need major transfer surgery" stuff that just seems weird to me when we've got another 20 games in our sample to look at that say what we're doing is working pretty damn well.

Classic football supporter innit. We win and Davis should be getting an England call up, we lose and he has a bad day at the office against a top calibre player and he’s been ‘found out’. It’s tedious.
