Having just played clips of the '78 Cup final, of Wark hitting the post twice & Burley forcing a great save from Jennings, with those two legends stood next to each other, BBC's pitch side presenter, to George Burley, said "John, how did you feel hitting the post?"
Warky had to point himself out, whilst the presenter seemed blissfully unaware!

Alex Scott is excellent, her work in the build up with two strikers who aren't the most charismatic and Elokobi holding court was decent to watch.
Much better than four 50 year old blokes running through cliches and small talk, which is what a lot of coverage has often been reduced to. | |
