against an excellent team. Completely rattled WBA and should have won.

Yes, Woolfie should have got a challenge in for their first, but his distribution was very good the whole game.

Playing like that we are still in the race for the top two.

Also, what a game — nice to see the WBA keeper acknowledging this at the end by giving us a round of applause. It is *so* good watching Town at the moment.

No we shouldn't be right up there. We haven't won enough games to be.

I've not seen anyone say brom out played us. We just failed to hurt them despite us having the ball alot more.

As I said. The last 10 made it look better than what it was. Up until then it was another game where we struggled against a side sitting deep which is odd when we've had so long to come up with ways of doing it.

Bored of saying the same sht about wes. You like him fine I think he's sht for this level and 4 goal contributions for an attacking outlet who has so much of the ball is shocking. He headed another ball high and nowhere today, turned back and slowed play down when we have a 6ft striker waiting for a cross.

Morsy. Did you fail to see him trip over himself about 5 times today. Numerous times he was easily beaten to the ball and again his slowness out of the block set the tone for our slow temp attempts at getting at brom and just passing side to side despite the forwards in front pointing for forward driven passes to get at the brom backline. With luongo being the better tackler. It's time to pick one or the other imo. Both together are now finding it difficult to cope with the quickness of other midfielders. It's a shame but end of day there's always a certain Time when things need to be changed despite previous successes.

"Bored of saying the same sht about wes."

Yeah, we're fcking bored of it as well. So why don't you sht the fck up about it, then everyone's a winner!

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Morning. Not sure why you took me off ignore to make this post. Its Sunday morning. Sun's out. Have a happy day :)

Comments like this are really cringey in response to people.

You get a lot of sh!t on here quite deservedly due to way your brain reacts to things, your dislike to town when we face a little adversity and your lack of football knowledge but these comments are really silly.

"footy chat" doesn't mean your ill-informed hot take nonsense.

And the alternative to your crap isn't "cheerleader application". For example I've posted that Wolfy was weak on the first goal and agreed with or uparrowed posters who've said similar.

That's sensible footy chat not cheerleader application.

Hello flashers!
I notice Jackson didn't feature yesterday. What do you think McKenna's thinking was there considering he's been fantastic in recent games?

So you've sat in a stand. Watched 90 odd minutes of a match and your only criticism of the whole match Is wolfy for 1 goal.

Out of interest. What of my points about player performances recently do you disagree with and why..

Now.. let's be clear here we are talking about recent performance not what someone did 2 months ago.

No, I criticised Fridge for his hospital ball out that led to the second. Can't remember whether on here or IRL, but unlike you I don't feel the need to post every thought I have on here.

I've answered lots of your points, I even bolded some in the "Over achieving and over criticising" thread. Just read them.

And when discussing a player I'll use context of the whole season. I'll use context of where they were at 2 months ago if it's relevant. I'll use context of where they've come from and where they are now. I'll use context of injuries and niggles, to them and players around them. I'll use the context of what they've been asked to do, when they've been asked to do it, and why McKenna plays it that way.

Context. I keep telling you, when will you ever learn?

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Ah see you've just explained your problem and not mine.

You literally live in the past and future not the present. It shows why you can't and won't appreciate posters who use the forum to discuss the football. The performances as they happen.

And no. Your counter points again directed back to the past rather than what happend.

So least we understand now why you get so worked up. You can't discuss football as it happens. It explains why you get so worked up.

Now we've established that. Let's leave this thread to those that want to enjoy their experience yesterday

Well firstly I haven't said anything about the future.

Secondly, context being a thing is not my problem, it's yours. Context is important in any discussion, about anything not just football. For example, "Hitler must've been a lovely man because he was a vegetarian and liked painting." You see, from that example, how context works, or lack of it?

I discuss football and appreciate football discussion with lots of intelligent supporters on here who understand the game. Including in the present (but usually in the present I'm watching the game not thinking about what to post on a football forum, so for example for home games I'll be discussing 'present things' with my mate next to me).

YOUR problem is you seem ONLY to be able to discuss in the present. You don't seem able to apply ANY context. That's before we get into how daft your 'present' points are. Like the idea that bringing attacking subs on is a failing by McKenna. So brainless whether that's past, present or a discussion on what he'll do in the future (clue: he'll keep doing it).

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Lol. Wow. Can see you're struggling now. You're lieing to try and win something I don't know what.

At what point did I say bringing on attacking subs was a failure..

Saying we shouldn't be relying on subs saving games is no where close to saying the subs he made were wrong.

Anyways I feel bad for the op now. So I will leave it here. But that lie lol wow flash.

I didn't say you said the subs he made were wrong.

You said bringing on attacking subs "is not something you should be relying on weekly". You've said similar on more than one occasion but I can't be arsed to trawl back through your endless drivel. But that is a direct quote.

You're splitting hairs. We ALWAYS bring on several attacking subs around 70 minutes, regardless of if we're winning, losing or drawing. It's not McKenna admitting he's fecked up and trying to save things, it's a tactic.

Jesus wept.

Isn’t it annoying when subs impact a game? Much better they’re useless and offer sod all in my opinion
