I took that as meaning we had played better sides (at the time of the games) than had Leeds or Southampton - kind of vindicates the view that Southampton have had a run where they didn’t play many of the tougher teams. Or I might have got that completely wrong…..

Thanks for clarifying, although to a degree there is an element of that being that we have played better than our points tally currently places us (just not for the reasons I gave).

Thanks for clarifying, although to a degree there is an element of that being that we have played better than our points tally currently places us (just not for the reasons I gave).


Absolutely, both links on this thread show that we have played the better performing teams, and have the lesser ones to come (mainly over the next 9 games, as we then get to Southampton, the scum, Watford, Hull, Coventry)
