No it was just because he hadn’t played a minute in the league, so McKenna did it just out of respect, as he was part of the squad. Nice touch. Sure if we are well ahead then the same will be done for Walton.

I would imagine we would do the same for Walton if a) we were in such a luxurious position which is probably less likely given its Huddersfield rather than Exeter, and b) there's not a contractual reason why it would be expensive for us to do.

You don't need to play to get a medal, the club distribute them and he would have got one.

It was just a reward for his performances throughout the season in supporting Walton and always being ready
