A bit of punctuation would be handy.

So Sky can show the games they choose.

3PM would certainly be preferable!

I swear Sky just like to show their ability to boss the leagues around.

Our USA viewers have to get up especially early and face the unwelcome decision whether to have breakfast tea/coffee or head straight for the beer.

Premier League is then unaffected I think, plus a play-off game Sky want to show later in the day?

But the Prem isn't important this year, they could play on the Sunday or the middle of the night for all I care.

Next year they can do what what they like with the Championship.

Quite like the 6:30am start on this occasion: less time to stress. Unlike Hull and Cov matchdays when you’re getting heart palpitations and stomach ulcers in the build up.

Ideally we’ll be a premier league team before my second cup of tea Saturday morning.

The 3pm blackout is largely a very good thing for protecting attendances throughout the pyramid but I think there should be a bit more flexibility with it because it makes a bit of a mockery of the principle of it if all the games get moved anyway. Final day of the season should be exempt imo.

It's my understanding that there isn't actually a 3pm blackout in force at the moment.

I looked it up after seeing that Sky were showing Colchester's 3pm kick-off last week, and found this article (copy-and-pasted because it's from The Scum):

"FANS have been left confused over the 3pm blackout rule, after it was announced that a League Two game will be shown by Sky Sports in that timeslot this weekend.

Traditionally matches cannot be televised between 2:45pm and 5:15pm on a Saturday afternoon in the UK.

This rule has been in effect since the 1960s, having been implemented in order to protect lower league attendances.

Yesterday it was announced that Colchester's League Two final day clash with Crewe Alexandra will be shown live on Sky Sports at 3pm this Saturday.

The announcement left some supporters on social media confused, with one writing: "Didn't think Saturday 3pm kick offs could be televised?"

While a second asked: "I might be being thick here but what about the 3pm blackout rule?"

As it turns out, the last of the 3pm blackout windows for the 2023-24 season expired last weekend.

There are six windows in total, with the blackout lifted during international breaks and the Christmas period.

As per Uefa, the final window of the season ran between March 30 and April 20.

This means that Sky Sports are free to show action from League Two this Saturday."

Which means that Sky could have kept the final day at 3pm had they wished.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

I envy you for these mid-dayers.

I'll be on my third joint and twelfth coffee by then. That emergency rum in the cupboard is in danger as well.

I need to be a little compus to be able to enjoy the rest of the day and evening in town so don't want to ruin myself.

A nice stroll round Needham Lake Sat morning with a relaxing podcast on the headphones may be in order.
