I would be very happy with Cresswell coming back. Ben Johnson would be a very capable player. Nothing to make you jump out your seat, but a reliable RB. His wages would be a problem, but hopefully he will be thinking of his career rather than his bank balance. |  |

If Aaron Cresswell wasn't a former Town player, would any of us be recommending us signing a 34 year old, whose career is clearly on the downslide, to act as back-up?
I doubt McKenna will be influenced by a player's Town history (although it may have helped us get Kieffer Moore on loan). |  |

Aaron Cresswell the one for me.
Naturally he wouldn’t have the running power of Leif Davis, but still has a wand of a left foot, a natural understudy with vast PL experience, 1 year contract + 1, Leif is very rarely unavailable, but Cresswell would be the perfect understudy.
