Having a look back through my own posts, I don't think i've come across as that about this KM stuff, but I am curious to understand something.

Many are pointing to KM's success at town and saying how much the clubs owe him, etc etc, how much he's achieved, what an amazing manager, he's made the players better, it's going to take a lot to continue what he's done..

So if the above is all true, which it is in many aspects..... why is it seen as bed wetting from those who aren't happy with what's happening.

If all of the above were true, isn't it better that people are genuinely gutted that we could be losing him, rather than the times when we were shocked when a manager was given a 5 year deal when we all wanted him gone.

I've seen posts saying other forum users would laugh at this site.. why? their aren't any supporters out there who've just seen their club promoted back to back, wanting to see how the side does in the prem with the same manager, if anyone laughed at the reactions of some, i'd be asking how would you be acting in the same situation.

Absolutely there's various ways you can react to what's going on, but I don't see what the problem is with feeling absolutely pssed off with it all. likewise, I don't see the issue if you want to chill and see what happens. I'm just suprised the term bed wetters is being used for people who aren't happy about potentially losing KM.

Absolutely, it may not happen, and if it doesn't then all you have is every single person on the forum feeling the same joy, so that would be brilliant.

I'm at the point where for the clubs best interest, I just want it resolved. A poster yesturday said our main priority should only be about KM, but it just can't be, there's far to much to prepare for our prem season, any potential contacts with new players could be highly damaged by what is happening, not only that, but what if we're trying to extend player contracts - Hladky, Morsy? Davis? etc, how can Ashton sit them down and get them signed if they see their managers agent looking to force a move.

I get both sides of the feelings fence, but I don't begrudge anyones thoughts on what's happening.

for me, I just want it sorted one way or the other, it just has to be and soon.

The manner in which many have lost their head over this is embarrassing.
Very little critical thinking, vast overreaction and people consistently putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5. It hasn’t been helped by the poor article on the BBC, which I’m led to believe was written by a Norwich supporter.

Some of the ludicrous stuff I’ve seen alleged “supporters” write insinuating he’s already gone, etc- it beggars belief.

And just to show how circular this whole saga is, with many rumours being presented as fact, and 'sources' often being some media outlet commenting on / discussing speculation from elsewhere, TWTD is now being given as the source for the rumour that Chelsea is the preferred option.

FLW: "TWTD are reporting that the Blues are McKenna's representatives' preferred option at this point."

Which is presumably based on :

TWTD: "Of the clubs understood to be interested in prising McKenna from Town following the Blues’ back-to-back promotions, Chelsea are believed to be the one most favoured by his representatives due to existing relationships between the two."

Which is of course based on reports from other media.

So all this speculation is self-fulfilling, gaining momentum and 'credibility' based on the next report in the chain 'diluting' how little actual fact there is to to what is being said, or solid sources to the report.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not suggesting that there may not be some basis for the talk, however there is far less 'fact' and 'evidence' than many believe, and much of the media is just building a frenzy around what began as some initial speculation that some big clubs (that are currently, or may soon be, looking for a new manager), would rightly consider one of the hottest managerial prospects for the appointment.

And everyone wants to get in on the act for the clicks.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

It's because people are reacting to gossip rather than evidence. It reminds me of two old dears gossiping over a garden fence 'Oh have you heard the rumour about the woman at No.x having an affair with the man at No.y?'.

Something that many people especially young people would moan about, old dears gossiping, now those same people are bed wetting about rumours on the Internet.
The Internet rumours are the same as those two old dears gossiping over the fence, but we live in a world where people read it on the Internet and take it as proof.

I've seen people claim KM spoke to Palace last season and rejected them as fact. When I've asked them for evidence, they can only point to KM saying he 'stayed loyal', so no evidence/fact he spoke with Palace. Same as the two dears who based their affair comment on the woman at No.x saying the man at No.y is a charming man.

Bedwetting is when people get emotional on gossip
