Guess it depends what kind of TV you had. I don't remember getting a TV with a remote control until late 80s. I think the first bit of Town news I ever saw on teletext was when Sergei signed, which was actually the main sports news headline. That was really exciting at the time. |  |

The Evening Star was always delivered to my grandparents, but the Green Un was always collected from the Cornhill.
