Your previous posts about Aden Flint and Lewis Gibson don't leave me hopeful

But he's the type of player i'd be looking at - good technique, quick, can beat a man

But at present has done little in his career to make me see why we would want him. See injuries apart I suggested Tammy Abrahams

Both of which we were proven to be interested in? Don’t get your point

For example….

Yeah, disappointed OP doesn't have a track record on this as Asprilla is a big favourite of mine.

He's certainly got the workrate for a McKenna team, exciting going forward and young so will get stronger and better.

See him as perfect competition on the right side with Burns, both direct, both good at getting back, wouldn't want to be a tired defender having one or the other coming at you for the last 20.

Omari would still be my preferred signing, but Asprilla looks the real deal

He's playing and scoring for Colombia, the 12th ranked nation, currently ahead of nations like Uruguay and Germany.

Poll: An interesting day for our politicians, but which one is worse?

If you want Tammy Abraham you are going to be disappointed.

Would love this. What price range would he be?

Given Watford sold João Pedro to Brighton for circa. £30m, can imagine they will drive a hard bargain.

They have no parachute payments now, so are in a much weaker bargaining position. £12m-£15m for Asprilla would be fair.

If we dont get hutch back, wouldn't whittaker be a more likely replacement?

Interesting. It’s about time we took advantage of other clubs financial situation.

Not sure why you think that ship has sailed when he had a great season for pafc, yes he can be a bit inconsistent like all young players but he is still a good age, decent end product and is within budget

He and his agent burnt his bridges with Ashton a long time ago.

If true, I wonder if they look back on that with a bit of regret given where we are now.

I'd have loved to have seen Whittaker in a McKenna team.

I just don't see it with Whittaker.

Know he's scored lots, got good feet to score and can spot a pass, but I just don't look at him and see a player in a game throughout.

Watch him now get signed for £15m to a prem team.
