Who is it aimed at?

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

Seems like a common theme. The authorities have had to request that England fans stop singing the German bombers chant in front of their hosts this time round. We’ve got some right feckwits who follow us. No awareness, no class.

(Not all England fans fall into this bracket of course, but it’s a vocal group who shame the nation).

I think some fans regard it as banter - no idea what the equivalent banter reply would be from German fans?

I do find fans singing about the WW2 a tad strange considering it was 80 years ago.

Mate, the 10 German bombers boys are just loud obnoxious morons.

The C18 guys were full on nutters, think they were involved in the riot in Dublin when the match was abandoned.

Italia90 I reckon 75% of England fans were loons. On the Ferry to Sardinia two of them held up the bar at knife point and knicked the bar takings. It was an overnight ferry FFS.

On arrival Italian plod just detained every English fan until they found out who it was.

Braincells were not all that common with these loons.

Poll: This new lockdown poll - what you reckon?

My first England away game was the World Cup qualifier against the Netherlands in 1993. The Hook of Holland Ferry from Harwich ‘banned’ England fans from travelling on it - so me and my 3 mates all booked separately to beat/cheat the system.

I naively thought we’d be the only 4 England fans, but when we arrived to board is was mobbed with England fans from all over the Country.

I was 22 and thought I was hard, but was bricking it in the queue to board. Evil looking dudes from loads of different clubs, but Burnley, and Stoke were particularly highly represented.

The Ferry bar shut about 1 hour in, allegedly as it had been drunk dry - the duty free shop was then hit by what was effectively looting. It was carnage, and “no surrender” was being belted out all the way over and on the train into Rotterdam.

I think I Jay have been on the same ferry! On my own but stuck with some Coventry fans. I also learnt never to admit you had a ticket.

Ha ha, I learnt the same lesson! I didn’t have a mobile back then and hadn’t bothered to find a pay phone to call home, so when I got back my then girlfriend was pleasantly surprised to hear that I hadn’t been one of the hundreds of England fans rounded up by the Dutch police owing to the trouble being caused in Rotterdam city centre, nor had I been hurt by flying debris or seats being set on fire. I couldn’t really agree with the line that the problems were caused by Dutch fans and/heavy handed policing.
