Why does everyone keep saying it's likely to be the Netherlands? We could play the third place team from D/E/F. Why would it automatically be the Netherlands. Is there a rule on which out of those groups we would be matched with? [Post edited 25 Jun 2024 22:23]

It's to do with the 4 best 3rd place teams. Group B can't make it, Groups C & D are definately through. So it goes like this.
ACDE get the 3rd place spaces ...we play Netherlands
ACDF Netherlands.
CDEF we play one of Belgium, Romania, Ukraine, Slovakia
