This is a perfect example of sensible planning. Not just looking to the future but improving and increasing the quality of the first team.

Add Downes into the mix....its looking an astute sensible start to the transfer window.

Does this work in our favour in that we can potentially spend more when the transfer window opens? Didn't Chelsea want it done quick so they can balance the books so to speak?
