Video makes it seem like he is just a great technically and with proven end product. To think it is this plus great at pressing and dispossessing people high up the pitch.
I think he will win us some penalties next season, given we have VAR to prove the case.

Ok a highlights reel is always exciting. But then he is. When I first clapped eyes on him mooching to the bench before the Stoke game I thought surly, slightly arrogant, moody, probably talented but wouldn’t offer much. Billy big boots too good for us. He came on and I thought ‘not much there’. Another loanee comes and goes….
Just how wrong can you be? Jeez. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player improve as much as that in a season. Every single aspect and by season’s end he was virtually unplayable. What commitment, what a character too. Where is his ceiling? Who knows but I believe he’s ready for the PL now and will only get better.
If all this is true, it is a brilliant bit of business.

There was a turning point early on, and McKenna referenced it (but I can't remember which game) that he made a couple of big defensive tackles and got the crowd on his side.
Prior to that he looked all fur coat & no knickers.

Tell me about it.
I wasn’t sure about him after the Sunderland game first game when he came on. The most wrong I have been I think, as he was simply incredible by the end of the season
The thing that is crazy here is he is only 20 and got better and better. I’m not comparing him to Ronaldo but I remember when he first played at United and he was all step overs and people weren’t that impressed initially but he just got better and better. I genuinely think Omari could be an absolute stunning player and he’s the sort of player that gives us a real chance of making it next season. He’s got the ability and work ethic and attitude to be what he wants. This is absolute dream signing for us because we also know he fits our system and squad. Happy days!
