It's literally one up from two divisions. Win your league and then play the winner of the other league and the winner of that goes up. It's actual madness, and is pretty much just supporting a bankrolled team walking the leagues over actually allowing multiple teams to develop. | |

Last year there was no play-off. Both teams - Portsmouth and Newcastle - were promoted. Watford and Lewes were relegated.
I imagine Lewes will be reprieved and that will ripple through.
I do wonder what the plan for the ladies team is, they seem to have fallen back whilst other teams have got stronger and overtaken them. Geography may not have helped, and they've lost a few decent young players over the last couple of years. Feels like it needs a reset if they want to get to the Championship, and possibly full time. |  |
