Glad you're having more fun than I am, suffering through 'SZA' as youngest child just put her set on via iplayer. A headliner I haven't heard of.
It's not me being old, it's just objectively bad. About 5% of what I'm hearing is her voice, the rest is production or backing vox. Common I know for most modern plastic Insta-pop. Mic on constant robot-distortion FX. Backing vox which are clearly superior to her own. There's no particularly skilled dancing or 'performance' to compensate. Beyonce she is not.
And the crowd is about 95% of the most basic white girls, and their gay best friends.
Stumbled across them after getting home from the England game, like you I'd never heard of them but caught the end of their set, will have to watch the whole thing on i player. Lead singer reminds me a touch of Jarvis Cocker ?

They've headlined Latitude 2 or 3 times I think. Incredible band who have a serious back catalogue.

Lady Dollers' favourite band. We saw them at All Points East a couple of years ago and they were amazing. Very underrated, which I guess is why you've never heard of them.
Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Mentioned it before but also have a listen to the Folklore album by Taylor Swift as Aaron Dessner from the band wrote most it. It's blindingly obvious when you hear it.
Please note: prior to hitting the post button, I've double checked for anything that could be construed as "Anti Semitic" and to the best of my knowledge it isn't. Anything deemed to be of a Xenophobic nature is therefore purely accidental or down to your own misconstruing.

Start with "Alligator", thank me later.
It’s a damn fine album - but Boxer just pips it for me. It’s in my Top 5 albums by any artist. Incredible from the opening bars of Fake Empire to the closing fade of Gospel. Not a poor track on there.
Alligator has some amazing tracks and finishes so strong - but the middle tracks get a bit samey for me.
Also - Cherry tree Ep is exceptional and Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers has some great tracks for a band just finding their sound.
High Violet and Trouble Will Find Me are very solid. The alternate version of Terrible Love is so much better than the album version,
Sadly for my taste they fell off a cliff after that.

Very nearly went for "Boxer"...both albums are monsters for me, and also love "Trouble Will Find Me". But then I'm a fanboy and they haven't really ever missed for me, loved the last couple of albums!
