Wembley concerts 16:20 - Jul 3 with 995 views | Zx1988 | Going to see Springsteen at Wembley later this month, and I'm pondering the best way to get there/back. It's down as a 1900hrs start, and the setlist for this tour looks to be about three hours long. Assuming he leaves the stage at about 10pm, will that leave enough time to get out of Wembley and get back to Liverpool Street for the last Ipswich train, or am I better off trying to sort out some parking at the northern end of the Jubilee line?

Wembley is a bit of a ballache to get away from, so would say if you'd rather a stress-free time post-gig (and the ability to stay to the bitter end) either park the car (again I'd say Stratford a good option for this) or get the 12:30 train back to Colchester and cab from there if you would like to have a few drinks.

What's the egress from Wembley to the tube like these days? I've not been to anything there since 2007, and I seem to recall that it was one hell of a slog getting from the stadium to the tube. Have they improved the crowd control side of things in the intervening years? Or is it still a complete and utter sh*tshow?

Wembley concerts on 18:37 - Jul 3 with 794 views | stonojnr | is he known for starting on time? Ive been to plenty of concerts where the star appeared to live in a different time zone versus the rest of us in terms of their time keeping. theyre allowed to play till 10:30. so I always expect thats the earliest Im likely to leave a venue, and plan accordingly.

It's still a ball ache, not sure I should admit this on here due to fear of ridicule from the cool kids but me, the missus and my daughter went to a Coldplay concert there 2 years ago and it took us more than an hour to get from the stadium back to the tube after the concert. Thankfully I'd booked a hotel in Edgware for the night so we didn't have to travel all the way back to the Midlands that night. [Post edited 3 Jul 2024 18:58]

He turns up bang on time and finishes bang on time. So you can definitely work from that. We are rescheduled 25 June 2025. The chances of both him and me being fit for that is probably fairly remote.
