Oooh !! I didn’t know about Tapia,he’d be great, he’s fallen out with the Peruvian FA but was nailed on future captain of the national team until then. I often mused in the past when we were frequenting division 3 who I’d love at Portman road from the Peruvian national team and he was the one.

I did not know we had a Peruvian member, pleased to meet you. You would know more about him them me. I do know that he has been a main stay at a mid table LaLiga club for a while now and has 60 plus caps for Peru. What is he like as a person/can he speak English etc?

Many would just call me a bit of a member I actually don’t know in regards to his English skills but I’m guessing here that he may have enough to get by as he played in the Netherlands and often English is used as a common communication default tool between players of various nationalities. He’s quite a strong willed guy who as I say has had a bit of a fallout with the Peruvian FA who are very fall outable and he is also quite a bit of spokesman for the indigenous population. He from the 2018 World Cup squad was the most “English” player who would find adapting to the style played in England the easiest. He would certainly be a solid and reliable defensive midfielder to have up our sleeves, the only shame is he’s not younger and more malleable by Kmac

He sounds good. 29 is not old for a CDM who along with CBs tend to have a longer shelf life than other outfield players. He is a good bit younger than both Sam Morsy and Luongo who have both improved a fair bit since coming to Ipswich.

I'm going to be pretty blunt here... anyone who mentions Alexis Sanchez as an interest going forward is dancing with my div list. (Which currently equals 0)

Don’t sell yourself short mate, you’re a massive member!
Always liked the look of Tapia in the middle for Peru. Was it him that pulled out of the Copa America as the national FA wouldn’t commit to cover lost earnings if he picked up an injury and thus couldn’t get himself a new club over the summer?

How come someone from "Darkest Peru" supports a backwater club like Ipswich? Chelsea is the closet club to Paddington.
