What serious candidates? It's not like the Democrats have an array of good options waiting in the wings.
All the alternatives are themselves getting on, have political positions which risk splitting the party or other things which will not sit well with the more socially conservative US electorate. |  |

It will be scary maybe interesting at best when Trump comes back into power.
He will walk away from Ukraine, then after Russia incorporates Ukraine into the new USSR and Putin goes into Poland Trump will probably turn a blind eye again, irrelevant of NATO.
