Sort of indirectly. My company isn’t but my other half’s company is - whilst I’m trying to work at home, she decided not to go into the office as ‘there’s no point’ and instead pacing up and down and asking when am I going to mow the lawn (and other questions I haven’t the inclination to answer).

Any of you lot affected by the Microsoft outage? (n/t) on 11:03 - Jul 19 with 1956 views
I work for an IT firm and I'm contracted out to a large German car manufacturer. I work off 2 Windows devices, my client-provided device (which I do my main work from) is unaffected. The device supplied by my employer is also working but our email and intranet is down so there are obviously some of our main systems that have been hit by the outage, thankfully, I only use this device for admin purposes, which can be sorted once everything is back up and working.

I can suggest a really good way to keep her out of your way for the rest ....
Due to the Microsoft issue, I've decided to avoid the frustration and go out in the garden to enjoy the sunshine... KJ: But you use a Mac... Me: Oh. Damnit.

Although could you have replied 'its sunny so I dont need a Mac"?
Worth buying some Crowdstrike shares? BBC says it's lost a fifth of its value in pre-market trading in the US but that still keeps it over 30% up on where it was at the start of the year.

Yep, been coordinating a full business continuity response from my sun lounger for hours. Not the best way to spend a morning, all inclusive bar or not.
