Anyone remember when I used to say ‘Evan’s Out’ every week? 20:40 - Jul 19 with 4330 viewsThe_Romford_Blue

And got hammered on here with stuff like ‘you buy the club then’ or ‘name us a realistic buyer’?

Can we concede now we’re three weeks away from the Premier League that I was right?

In fact asides from McKenna, Ashton, the players and the owners, I’d argue I probably am the 5th most important reason for our success.

I of course am willing to stay humble but it does deserve a mention.

Au contraire. I’m wondering who’ll be first to want McKenna out and Ashton to go taking the yanks with him.

Possibly in early October. I’m sure you’ll be in the mix.

I’m not really one for calling for a managers head prematurely. Other than Hirst whose attitude irritated me.

We could go down with 1 point all season and I’d be hopeful McKenna is still in charge come August 2025

The level of immaturity and self-importance demonstrated by this post is staggering.

Move on ...

I have to admit, you’re becoming a guilty pleasure now Effers.
You remind me so much of my late friend, who was a Coventry fan.
We used to meet up for various Coventry and Ipswich games in the pub in the 80s right through to a few years ago.
He couldn’t even celebrate the Coventry FA Cup win in 87 because his theory was that was as good as it would ever get, plus they wouldn’t be allowed into Europe thanks to the behaviour of English fans.
His glass was always joyously half empty.
That said, October might be a tad early for even our most pessimistic fan base.

Poll: September 2025. Which one?
