Best place to sit with kids at PR for the friendlies? 19:25 - Jul 24 with 1902 views | reuserfivethree | Hi, I'm sure this has been covered before, but I can't find a thread, sorry. I'm looking to go to one of the friendlies with my 6 year old kid. It will be the first time I've been anywhere outside the North Stand for a long time, so please could somebody tell me if it's worth sticking to the family areas, or if we should just try and get the best possible view we can so they can enjoy the game that way? Thanks a lot!

Good suggestion. Middle tier of West stand, close to player tunnel. First impressions matter and nothing beats climbing a fllght of stairs and seeing the hallowed turf for the first time. Don't rush to your seat let him enjoy the fan zone, get him a drink and something to eat, while you enjoy a pint.

Plus, it means the players warming up are right at the side which means they are really close to them and also a potential chance for autographs too!

Agree west stand lower tier, on the left hand side near the north stand end so they can stand at the front and watch the players warm up at the start and during the game.

FYI, the “West Stand”….. on 08:21 - Jul 25 with 1406 views | Bloots | ….is largely shut for Saturday and probably will be (due to ongoing works) until the season starts.

The family area at PR is a nightmare. Took my granddaughter. We won 4-0 but the noise from the kids screaming just because they could was awful. They were not interested in the game just trying to out do each other in volume. No, I will take her again, but anywhere but the family area.

I don’t like the view from that low. But I don’t like the view from behind the goal either. Wear stand middle tier for me.

I sit in the family area block GG and gets quite rowdy sometimes and mixture of old people, families with young kids and others with teenagers. Also sit about 10 yards away from KM when he is on the touchline so get to hear him shouting instructions which I actually like.
