Question re membership and ticketing 21:03 - Jul 28 with 2089 viewsThisIsMyUsername

Good evening all. I have my membership and will of course try to purchase a Liverpool ticket when they go on sale at 10am tomorrow. If, however, I were successful, it's not 100% guaranteed that I can make it. In which case, would there be any system in place stopping me being able to sell/pass it onto another person to use in my place?

Thanks in advance for the clarification. It probably mentions this somewhere in whatever gumph I received when I bought my membership but I can't be bothered to look through it right now.

Poll: Which of these events will happen the soonest?

Yeah you can hand it to a mate/family member if you want to, nobody will check or know. Think technically the only thing you’re not allowed to do is sell it for a profit (but again I’m not sure how anybody would know you’ve done that, just poor form really).

Please give it to me :)

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!

I presume if you are successful, and you can't attend, that may put you at a disadvantage for future tickets, so if I were you, I would try to apply for a match that I could 100% attend.

It wouldn’t, because the ticket will still get used if passed on, but still wouldn’t do anything even if it wasn’t used.

If you can’t attend you can just get a refund and the club will re-sell it.

Thanks for all the responses :)

Ah yes Sitters, great point being able to get a refund if needed.

TractorFrog, will keep you in mind in such a case.

I was referring to if the OP passed on their successful ticket, under their own name, to someone else, it will go down in their ballot history that they've had a ticket to Liverpool (h), but weren't actually there.

He wasn’t referring to the ballot though.

I don’t think the club would look at tickets not used anyway to be honest.

I see. I presumed the remaining tickets on sale on Monday would also be counted against future ballot entries for those that are successful.

Thankfully, all this ticket debacle doesn't effect me.

If it's a genuine unweighted ballot - the results for one match should have zero influence on another.

I’m a season ticket holder, and because of work, I won’t make all games.
I will sell my seat as and when required, a seat ive had for many years

Thank you so much, that would be extremely kind and I would be so grateful. Sadly I was 5486th in the queue so didn’t make it.
