I hadn’t noticed he’d gone to Colchester.

I really thought he was going to have a better career than he’s had. Immensely talented, albeit a bit short on pace. I guess injuries really did for him. I do wonder if the club had been in a better state at the time whether or not he would have benefitted.

Yes, he didn't sign until Wednesday.

He played about the last half an hour on Saturday, and looked tidy. By that time the game was gone, - after a hectic first half both teams seemed to have lost some of their appetite having seen one of Colchester's central defenders having all his front teeth smashed into his mouth when his face made contact with another player's shoulder in the build-up to Wimbledon's 4th goal, just after half time. One of the most gruesome injuries I've seen, and the medical staff didn't seem to know how to react.

Yeah, the injury was nasty. I think they thought he'd swallowed his tongue at one point.

I thought Joe Piggot looked good for Wimbledon when he came on
