Already seen enough over the last few games to understand exactly what Kieran sees. There’s some player there.

His touch, awareness, control, strength all looks very very good. He looks as if he takes too long to get a shot away, perhaps a legacy of being at a City team obsessed with walking it into the net, but he looks like he has a bit of everything about him.

If he can get up and running early with a few goals he could have a really decent season.

I've not seen him live yet. Really looking forward to getting a close look at him next week. Getting close now.

Not the goalscoring (yet), but he puts me in mind of Waghorn. Strong, physical, causes trouble to opposition defenders.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

He's quite quick but his strength is his weapon,

Looks like a cross between Waghorn and Hirst in terms of appearance and playing style.

He doesn't give the impression of being tall and imposing like Hirst or Moore. Rather a sense of stocky, low centre of gravity, burrowing under or through defenders instead of crashing over the top.

He was strong. I did like the cheeeky chip after the whistle blew to stop play to prove he had the touch to finish well.

I always think it very sweet of the Ref not to give a yellow for kicking the ball away in these circumstances....

Allow a striker to do what they need to do, ball meet back of net

The joy of a pre-season friendly and generous ref allows a player to gain confidence with pleasure for the audience when no malice is meant. The crowd appreciated it.

Yeah, looks good. No need to worry, Kieran knows what he is doing.

Waghorn, yes! I wondered who it was that he reminded me of...

I really like the look of him. Not sure I'd say he's good enough to lead the line in the PL quite yet, but he's going to and there's plenty of potential.

Still looks a little off the pace to me.

Shows moments of talent where you can see why we looked at him, but also shows moments of rawness.

Still think we need a real versatile operater, whether it be Szmodics or another, but in that mould.

Heading in to the season with Ladapo & Al-Hamadi as the reserve firepower is a concern.
