As I understand it, artists can choose to have dynamic pricing (or not). So, while TicketBast@rds are indeed such, so too are the working class heroes

I'm not sure many of us thought otherwise.

Oh, it sort of surprised me. But I'm not really up to speed on the Gallaghers post 1997ish

It's a total and utter disgrace and should be illegal. And when i see a Labour government minister say "It is the market and how it operates." I just give up on people nowadays knowing anything about fairness or right and wrong.

Not really, it means that the wealthiest will always win.

My poor old son in law had a budget as he has a big mortgage and two kids to think of. He decided that the stated price pf £300 a pair of standing tickets was ok and sat on his pooter for hours in a queue.

When he got to the front I think the price was £676 a pair, so he didn't click the button.

It's a p1ss take.

Agreed it's price gouging at the highest level. TicketMaster is just hiding behind the "we don't set prices" schmuck.

Of course there was huge interest in these gigs, but as a punter when prices have been announced to have to queue for hours (if you aren't kicked off because you are accidentally determined to be a bot or clear your cookies which resets the queue, that ticketmaster advised users to do while in the queue!) And then finally get to buy tickets which are over 100% more expensive is an absolute joke.

At least in Ireland the resale of tickets is illegal but I presume that doesn't stop UK ticket holders listing them.

I wonder if anyone picked up tickets at ~€86 euro. The price of the standard tickets meant you would have been better off buying the premium tickets which evidently in Ireland weren't subject to "market pricing".
