One for the locals - whenever I am back visiting the folks I always have my car / a lift...
I am due to attend a work event at the BT place nr Martlesham, and on the invite they have said "Uber and the like hasn't reached Suffolk yet". Is this really true?? Only asking as I need to leave early and get back to the station.

Funnily enough I had an email from them the other day saying they have just launched in Ipswich, no idea on availability though, it’s probably just a handful of drivers
However, if Uber isn’t an option we do have these magical things called ‘taxis’, apparently they’re just like Uber but been around a lot longer… |  |

Na, taxi drivers are too busy at FR rallies and dodging taxes to do any actual driving..

BT reception at Martlesham, if that is where you are going. Will arrange a cab for you. You pay for the cab obviously and claim it back.
Ask who ever you are visiting or reception to sort you a cab to the station.
