Got a red alert re visibility to the naked eye all over UK, went out twice 01.45 & 02.00 (North Yorks, clear sky) but think I was a few minutes too late, though I did see a spectacular shooting star quite low in the N the first time; & got a faint green hue in NE on my phone the second time.

The alerts are almost always too short notice to be useful to me though - not sure if it’s technically possible for them to be sent earlier, if so, there might be other apps which are better. | |
