About the only area that hasn't been touched on the Cobbold Stand is the old Portman Shop.

Does anyone know if the club has plans to use this area, or if it will be left as is until the stand is redeveloped?

No. It was down the NS end in front of the fetid bogs underneath the bit they’re developing/ redeveloping.

That shop was magical to me in the 70's, the pictures, bedspreads, bins, lampshades, flags,, the works. They must have sold kit, but I seem to think Mick McNeils. My first shirt came from Aldridges on Crown Street, just a generis blue shirt, but Mum got an Ipswich coat of arms badge from the scout shop!
