VAR so far this season 11:55 - Sep 24 with 1455 views | Dubtractor | Man City game aside, which wasn't exactly game changing stuff, VAR hasn't really added that much drama so far has it? And I don't get the impression that it's been too much of an issue in other games either. Has the VAR system finally been refined to be less intrusive in games?

VAR so far this season on 12:08 - Sep 24 with 1372 views | Guthrum | I think it will have more of an impact in the latter stages of the season, when under-fire managers and angry fans are in need of something to blame for not being able to escape from the predicament they're in.

VAR so far this season on 12:20 - Sep 24 with 1286 views | Steve_M | It's definitely better but it really shouldn't have taken so long to make it less tedious a process*. I still see no logical reason why the City penalty was reviewed but the similar challenge on Davis wasn't. Otherwise there was clearly a handball check at Southampton after Morsy's first shot from the edge of the box was blocked, that took far less time than Southampton were wasting at every opportunity. So, yes, it's been mainly ok in our games. So far. *I'm still of the belief that anything other than the goal-line check is not necessary and intrusive but we seem to be stuck with VAR in some form.

Agree fully with your last point. I'd far rather we didn't have it, but it's here to stay.

VAR so far this season on 12:34 - Sep 24 with 1202 views | Pinewoodblue | The automated VAR offside checks are, I believe, due to be introduced after the next international break. Still some anomalies with VAR in general. Haaland escaped investigation into him chucking the ball at Gabriel as it had already been reviewed by VAR.

VAR so far this season on 12:58 - Sep 24 with 1119 views | kizaitfc | I cannot stand the delayed offside flags. You get into a dangerous position, win a corner and then the lino flags for an offside that happened 3 minutes ago. I completely understand why they do it given VAR, but it is frustrating, even more so when you can tell they are a good 2 yards offside.

There'll eventually be a big-time controversy as a result of it, I'm sure. Imagine if VAR had been around at the time of the Luc Nillis incident, and it transpired that play should have been stopped a good ten seconds before his leg went snap, thanks to a patently-obvious offside.
