No matter how many players mckenna have for every position it means diddly Squat .cos we will still only have a good championship side out .bar experience From Phillips and that's it ..we will only probably be in with a good chance of beating 6 or 7 ish clubs .the rest we just need to hope they have an off day .and we playing good on the day..until we have a a good few players of top league quality or foreign players with individual skill levels on another level..all we can ever hope for is languishing at the bottom and hanging on for dear life. I suppose getting promoted is a sign of a very good championship side. Since then the franchise have stockpiled very good championship players with a sprinkling of players not good enough for the Prem and rented a couple of injury-prone misfits seemingly on a whim.
A very good championship side should do quite well in the Prem - though whether mass signings and the chaos it creates is anything more than a fad of poor management is a moot point. | |

I'm curious... what exactly did you expect? We are a very good Championship side with a few Premier League standard players because... wait for it... we were a Championship side last year and we had/recently added some Premier League standard players.
