Personal View 08:16 - Oct 21 with 905 views | turtle2 | Not a great start - nobody at all is to blame - the manager is fantastic and the squad is fantastic - the real issue - the real place to take out your frustration - and boy did i feel frustrated after Saturday - is on what football has become - a surreal nonsensical place where only money wins 99% of the time - What Leicster did was amazing but I doubt we'll ever see it again .... its all about the money and the rest is 90% promotional razz a matazz and 10% about football - its a horrid place in the Premier League nowadays - way back when it meant something and now its all about money - I seem to recall Man City had a player on their bench when we visited worth more than our entire spend ... The funny thing is that despite all the doom and gloom i actually suspect we will stay up and some, and that will only come from one place - the same determination and togetherness we showed for the last 2 years - either do it that way or get relegated but please don't become a sanitised team in a sanitised stadium in this league thats sole ambition is 4th from bottom [Post edited 21 Oct 2024 8:17]

Not sure what that means apart from maybe Dyche is something of a pragmatist and doesn’t subscribe to playing suicidal football with a limited bunch of not very good players. |  |

The two worst things about the PL so far: 1) Money, power, capitalism, etc. 2) Not winning I guarantee the first would be diminished rapidly by the second changing, but because of the first, the second won't. None of this is news though. Maybe *this* is when we should have been careful what we wished for? |  | |  |
Personal View on 08:27 - Oct 21 with 803 views | davblue | i think we will go down at the start of the season i thought we had a sneak, but from what i've seen particularly in the last 2 games it looks a bridge to far this season. Think we currently look a step down on the other sides and there's no shame in that. I just hope its not one of those seasons where it spirals out of hand. |  | |  |
