I thought Morsy would be available this weekend from what McKenna said after Brentford.

Morsy sounded 50/50 so knowing Morsy he'll be back.

Greaves? I remember Taylor was after internationals but was Greaves confirmed the same?

I'm a little worried that Greaves might not be seen again in 2024. The extent of the injury hasn't really been talked about, which to me is a worrying sign

As much as I love our Egyptian king, there was something to work with re. Phillips/Cajuste partnership at Brentford. We looked more powerful in the middle of the park, especially for the first 45 mins.

The first statement from McKenna talked about a 'few weeks' rather than it being a serious injury that would mean he would be out for that long. Rehab of muscle injuries can vary but I'd be hoping that if he's not available this weekend that he'd be back after the next international break.

Johnson?

Think that may be the case, Kieran said he wasn't far away last week: “Ben Johnson is still out. He’s got a small thigh injury. There was a possibility he could have made it for this weekend, but he’s not been able to make it. We’ll have to see how he is next week.”

Morsy as well, was initially told wasn't expected to keep him out beyond Saturday.

Wonder if we will stick with Hirst

Wouldn't be averse to it, seeing as it's his former club. But I do wonder if Delap would bully Faes and Okoli in ways that Hirst just can't? Maybe it could be the reverse of Brentford i.e. play Delap first 60 and let Hirst have half an hour?

After the shift he put in last week, with a goal and an assist as well, we couldn't say he doesn't deserve to start against Leicester. I'm very relaxed about that one, with the other coming off the bench after 60-70 minutes.

Might be worth benching Delap for a while just to keep him off the radar of other clubs come January!

Not sure Chaplin deserves to be dropped or Muric deserves to start.

Got to agree with this. Love Morsy but Cajuste is looking stronger by the minute, a bit more time and the position is his.
