Ambrose was co-commentator on the international broadcast. Maybe he was trying to avoid being too biased, but according to him:
- Phillips should probably have had a straight red for elbowing the player in the back of the head for his first yellow
- His second yellow was fully deserved
- on balance of play Leicester deserved to take at least a point

I've said it elsewhere he's absolutely shockingly anti Ipswich and I'm sick of hearing him to be honest. His attempt at being impartial to further his career has basically tipped him off the end of the scale into anti Ipswich, and makes him a terrible commentator to listen to. He is on Peacock every game, he was so biased in one of the early games that I am sure he got a rolicking at half time because he came on 2nd half and had completely changed his view of a 1st half incidence, apologised for his view and since then I think he is scared of saying anything positive! |  | | |
