I reckon you're overestimating our reach if so but I hope plenty have noticed how peed off we are. In my book we should stop calling it out when it stops; I like the siege mentality perspective and want refs to feel the same scrutiny when covering our games that they do for other clubs. Hunting dignity points from randoms isn't us at our best IMO.

I do think Ashton coming out and talking about it is all a bit pathetic though. We agreed to VAR but now decisions have gone against us we don't want it! Had VAR wrongly gone in our favour every time instead would he have said the same?

We are getting all a bit 'Leeds' here....suggest we all move on. on 22:31 - Nov 4 by Churchman | We can only deal with what’s in front of us, not what’s gone. The numbskull referee cabal have dug in to defend the indefensible and couldn’t give a monkeys. Same with the PL. it’s a club that doesn’t want the likes of us. There is no point in wasting any more energy on it. It doesn’t change my feelings about what happened. It was one of the worst 100 mins of officiating I’ve ever seen. The ref was garbage from the kick off. So yes, when we get shafted again next week or the week after, I’ll be going bonkers over it again and I hope the club does too. There’s nothing else we can do. |
I’m never sure why folk on here think that this is a little bubble that has no reach, it does. We know the club listens to us, we know players and players families dip in and out on occasion and we know national journalists pop in on the odd occasion too. The more noise we make, the more it circulates and the more likely it starts to get the attention it deserves. So, imo, those sitting on their hands not feeling they have a voice need to get with the program a little rally around injustice, not ignore it waiting to be walked over again because it’s coming at too high a price / the stakes in the PL are far too high.
