I think i heard on talksport that Delap has scored the most goals after 10 starts in the premier league.
he has 6, i think Rooney had 5, Kane might have been 5 to,. Shearer was 3 i think. Just got me thinking, you think he tops that list whilst playing for a club just above relegation, those players were all starting with very good squads around them.

For example we can’t go selling him to united for 60 million if city are prepared to pay that. |

It's entirely different and not dependent on other offers, just usually dependent on a time limit, which we would want to be as short as possible. |  |

I've been pretty impressed by Szmodics too and I wonder why he hasn't been grabbing more of the limelight?
Certainly, if we had to sell, which I really hope we don't, we would see a very handsome return on the sums paid for Szmodics, Delap and Hutchinson to name but three. |
Hutchinson & Delap were young players, bought for substantial fees but who had potential to prove themselves as PL players & potentially be worth far ore than what we paid. Those seem decent assessments on what we've seen so far.
Szmodics has also done well, but he's 29 & I don't see him as having much sell on potential. |  |

I spotted an impressive list including those boys and it only contained top English strikers, so I wasn't sure if it was a cherry-picked list or if he has had the fastest start of any Englishman. Haaland got off to a flyer from memory and may have reached double figures in his first ten. |
Dominic doing the sports on Chris Moyles show on radio X stated that it was the highest goal figures of English strikers first 10 games in the history of the Premier League. Including Shearer Own and Rooney. He does fit the Shearer mould, McKenna has always been good on transfers. |  |

£40m becomes very irrelevant to us if losing him and getting relegated ends up costing us £100m a year! We just have to enjoy him for the time he's here. I can't see it being for very long unfortunately. |  |
