Delap 18:43 - Nov 11 with 4824 views | Bangor31 | I think i heard on talksport that Delap has scored the most goals after 10 starts in the premier league. he has 6, i think Rooney had 5, Kane might have been 5 to,. Shearer was 3 i think. Just got me thinking, you think he tops that list whilst playing for a club just above relegation, those players were all starting with very good squads around them. Very impressive if i did hear it correctly

What about when Haaland goes to Real Madrid? (n/t) on 20:14 - Nov 11 by Nomore4 | I heard Haaland was Barca bound. Marquee signing alongside the opening of the new No Camp |
Haaland won't be going to Barça as they have no cash, and the new Camp Nou is opening with limited capacity in December so I think you heard wrong

£20m - £25m City buy-back clause. (n/t) on 21:42 - Nov 11 by Stewart27 | I think City get first dibs on whatever we value him at when we sell him. For example we can’t go selling him to united for 60 million if city are prepared to pay that. |
....not a "buy back" clause. It's what fans are saying is in place, because that's what fans want to be in place. But it was reported at the time that City had inserted a buy back. It's entirely different and not dependent on other offers, just usually dependent on a time limit, which we would want to be as short as possible.

My great hope is City can't trigger it for at least two seasons. £40m+ would be lovely as well but Southampton also agreed terms didn't they, so our bargaining power won't have been tip-top.

Delap on 18:58 - Nov 11 by NorthLondonBlue2 | I've been pretty impressed by Szmodics too and I wonder why he hasn't been grabbing more of the limelight? Certainly, if we had to sell, which I really hope we don't, we would see a very handsome return on the sums paid for Szmodics, Delap and Hutchinson to name but three. |
Hutchinson & Delap were young players, bought for substantial fees but who had potential to prove themselves as PL players & potentially be worth far ore than what we paid. Those seem decent assessments on what we've seen so far. Szmodics has also done well, but he's 29 & I don't see him as having much sell on potential.

Delap on 19:11 - Nov 11 by Vegtablue | I spotted an impressive list including those boys and it only contained top English strikers, so I wasn't sure if it was a cherry-picked list or if he has had the fastest start of any Englishman. Haaland got off to a flyer from memory and may have reached double figures in his first ten. |
Dominic doing the sports on Chris Moyles show on radio X stated that it was the highest goal figures of English strikers first 10 games in the history of the Premier League. Including Shearer Own and Rooney. He does fit the Shearer mould, McKenna has always been good on transfers.

£40m becomes very irrelevant to us if losing him and getting relegated ends up costing us £100m a year! We just have to enjoy him for the time he's here. I can't see it being for very long unfortunately.
