Quite a bit of chatter about this, with big money being spoken about again.
My question is, having spent £100+m on players in the summer, plus a load of essential work to PR, a load of new back room staff, plus goodness what else - where will this money come from? I’m not complaining, but we must have spent this year Prem money already! Would we be spending next years parachute money (assuming the worst) or will it be gambl8ng on staying up?

I suspect Ogbene may be deregistered in January, Al-Hamadi loaned out and maybe a Broadhead departure too. That will free up space but not finance. Can see loans from abroad and maybe one purchase. We obviously felt we had some decent finance for Broja and Nelson deals in August. |
Was Nelson a result of not getting Broja though?
Delap could actually play on the right or left if we were to secure another striker
Broadhead is certainly a resalable or part-exchangeable asset for some like Latte Lath |  |

I'm assuming even KMc didn't realise just how good Delap was until the season got going. Would we really have been prepared to offer a £30m obligation to buy Armando Broja whilst knowing Delap was this good?
Hirst has also impressed as our back up option so far but he isn't overly reliant on the injury front so you'd like to think we still require a third striker in January.
I'd like to see us add another creative no.10 and an Ogbene replacement too. |  |

I don’t think funding or cash is much of a problem, it’s more going to be determined by what we’re allowed to spend within the fair play framework. |

I like idea of Callum Wilson but signing a player coming back from injury to stand in for injury prone players feels risky?
Was going to suggest Awoniyi but apparently he's not been great when appearing for Forest this season

The situation at Lyon with the threat of relegation to Ligue 2 could open the door to some top European talent being available. I think there were some rumours around Tanner Tessmann in the summer and Ernest Nuamah looks a decent option at RW. |  | | |
